One way to obtain Polish citizenship, is to have it granted by the President of the Republic of Poland. Polish citizenship for a foreigner is the dream of many people who are connected to Poland for various reasons: through family members, economic ties or other special circumstances for which Poland has become their homeland. This dream is made possible by the granting of Polish citizenship by the President of the Republic of Poland.
Granting citizenship is a unique procedure, since its outcome depends solely on the will of the Head of State.
The application for Polish citizenship itself must meet formal requirements - you need to collect a number of documents - an original or in an officially certified copy.
These include photographs, a document confirming the identity and citizenship of the foreigner, his spouse and children, civil status certificates.
In case of formal deficiencies, the foreigner is summoned to supplement the application within a maximum period of 30 days from receipt of the summons. Failure to meet these strict requirements is often the reason for leaving the application unprocessed.
Any foreigner may apply for Polish citizenship. The condition for starting the procedure for granting Polish citizenship is to submit an application for Polish citizenship. The foreigner does this on his/her own behalf - he/she must personally sign the application. If he has a minor child - he can include the child in his application. The acquisition of Polish citizenship must be agreed to by all legal guardians of the child. A minor who has reached the age of 16 must also agree to acquire Polish citizenship. It is possible to apply for Polish citizenship only for the child.
The application for Polish citizenship is submitted:

A foreigner in respect of whom the President of the Republic of Poland has issued a decision to grant Polish citizenship becomes a Polish citizen as of the date of that decision. He/she will receive a POLISH CITIZENSHIP GRANTING ACT through the office where he/she filed the application.
The President of the Republic of Poland refuses to grant Polish citizenship by decision. The foreigner will receive a certificate of denial of Polish citizenship through the office where he/she filed the application.
The refusal is final, without justification, and cannot be appealed, and all documents remain in the Office of the President of the Republic of Poland.
